The DhagaSaaga Story
Every thread carries a saaga. Ours begins in Sanganer.
Just outside Jaipur, in the lanes of Sanganer, artisans have pressed carved wooden blocks onto cotton for over four hundred years — one colour at a time, one motif at a time, by hand.
The Sanganeri buti — a small flowering sprig with fine stems and delicate leaves — is never rushed. Each block is pressed, lifted, and placed again with a rhythm that leaves every repeat a little different from the last. That imperfection is the signature. It is what makes a hand-printed metre feel alive in a way no machine can copy.
DhagaSaaga was born from that lane. Dhaga is the thread — the breathable cotton, the craft, the hands that make it. Saaga is the story — yours. We take the buti that once lived only on festive lehengas and cut it for the way you actually live: relaxed Farshi sets, easy co-ords, shirts you can wear to work on Monday and to a mehendi on Friday.
